Le Castel is the perfect venue for special birthdays and anniversaries or just a big get together of family or friends.
This small Napoleon III chateau is also popular for weddings, car rallies, treasure hunts, bridge holidays and golf breaks. Le Castel is designed to be much friendlier than a hotel environment – it is meant to feel like your home for a few days, although you can also expect many of the services of a small hotel.
It is possible to hire Le Castel on a fully catered basis with full bar facilities, daily cleaning, meals, advice on planning your day and a host of other service. For full service breaks you can hire Le Castel for any number of days and starting on any day of the week. Alternatively, you can hire Le Castel on a self catering basis.
Le Castel is ideal for around 12 adults plus the odd child or two in cots or fold up beds.
You can also hire the cottages in the grounds but in winter the total number of guests on site should not exceed 14 (plus the odd baby or two). This is because Le Castel is not a huge, rambling chateau and experience has shown that is a comfortable number for the salon and dining area.
In summer the maxium number of guests can go up to 20 or so as you will hopefully be spending more time outside.
Special Packages
We do special packages for celebration dinners, which include a stunning five course dinner, beautifully decorated table, chair covers, fireworks, waitress, flowers, specially printed menus and many other extras to make a perfect evening. There are six ensuite rooms in the main chateau and a further two bedrooms in each of two cottages in the grounds. For seated dinners the ideal maximum is 14 people in the dining area.
Larger meals can be accommodated on the terrace or in the marquee. There is an additional hire charge for the day of a party that involves guests not staying at Le Castel.
Christmas and New Year
Le Castel is perfect for families or a group of friends to take over for Christmas or New Year .
The chateau is elaborately decorated for the festive season with a 9ft Christmas tree and dressed fire places.
The house is only available for exclusive hire over the festive period - we do not take individual bookings.
Ideal party size - 6 to 14 people. Minimum hire is four nights.
The house is great for party games like murder in the dark and sardines.
The chateau is very cosy in winter, with central heating and roaring log fires.
Self catering costs 700 euro a night plus bills for up to 12 people. Minimum festive booking is 4 nights.
All inclusive packages from 520 euro a head (based on minimum of 10 people for four nights). Includes superb Christmas lunch ,or five course dinner on NYE suppers on two out of the other three nights, all drinks (house wine, beers, soft drinks, 3 spirits of your choice), accommodation and lots of other little extras
